With 1,020 exhibitors from 43 countries turning the Stuttgart exhibition center into an epicenter of innovation, the latest edition of the R+T Stuttgart Fair (19-23 February 2024) exceeded all expectations. Among the most interesting innovations presented, the introduction of automated management systems for curtains and shutters stands out, allowing precise and intuitive control via smartphone or voice assistants. Another strong point was the focus on eco-sustainability, with many companies presenting energy-efficient solutions and recyclable materials for the production of doors and curtains. There was also no shortage of innovative proposals in the outdoor curtains sector, with increasingly high-performance technical fabrics and attractive designs.
The lead theme of R+T 2024 was precisely “Future. Sustainable. Configure. TogetheR+T”, which gave further relevance to the event, fueling its history of success and attractiveness. In fact, the special section Outdoor. Environment. Living was very popular, enriching the experience of visitors to the Stuttgart exhibition center by presenting outdoor solutions for all seasons.
Finally, the numerous collateral events, including the awarding of the prestigious R+T Innovation Award with the awarding of 29 products from 25 companies (in addition to the awarding of special prizes in the fields of sustainability and design), highlighted the central role of this fair in outdoor innovation.
If the 2024 edition of R+T has set new standards of excellence, the spotlight is already on the next edition – which will be held in February 2027 – promising further innovations and successes, with great curiosity among professionals and enthusiasts in the sector.
